Hello.

I'm Jena.

I'm a wedding photographer who arrives early, stays late, and packs a box of safety pins in case a wardrobe crisis arises. I'm an ace at unobtrusively capturing candid moments, creating Pinterest-worthy material for brides, and directing camera-shy grooms and family members so no one looks awkward.

My professional photography career began in 2007 as an assistant to a group of wedding photographers in Los Angeles. I instantly fell in love with capturing raw emotions and navigating the—usually frantic—ebb and flow of the wedding day. After outgrowing my second shooter position, I went on to pursue concert and event photography for LA Weekly (One of my life goals is to become the Foo Fighters tour photographer, btw).

Over the past ten years, I've shot countless concerts, been published in Rolling Stone a few times, and shot nearly every type of event you can imagine, including the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. After I moved back to the east coast, I began shooting private parties and fashion portraiture to help models build their portfolios. Then I realized: I should return to my first love—WEDDINGS.

I love receiving over-the-moon reviews from clients after they see their wedding photos. (Yes, you looked THAT good!! And no, I didn't use Photoshop). You don't have to be a model to look like a babe on your wedding day—you just have to have the confidence of one. Some models don't know their best angles or how to stand. Their secret weapon is the photographer.

I'm ready to bring out your inner babe if you are. Let's shoot!!
